About Me

I have been practicing yoga for 10 years and received my 200-hour teaching certification from Dharma Yoga in March 2016. My classes offer a combination of intention, asana, meditation, and breath work in order to help participants find a safe place for growth, connection, self-discovery, and fun. I believe that one can learn something new during every practice, and my goal is to make yoga welcoming and accessible to everyone.


Current Schedule

Wednesday 7:00-8:00pm All-levels Flow at M Station Apartments

This is a free all-levels class sponsored by Foundation Communities in which we use gentle poses to connect our breath to physical movement. Each class includes plenty of modifications and restorative poses, and ends with a relaxing meditation. This class is great for beginners, practitioners recovering from injuries, or experienced yogis who want to refresh their yoga basics. The class is open to all members of the Austin community and takes place in the Meredith Learning Center at M Station Apartments. Some mats and blocks are available to borrow.

 

 

Thursday 7:00-8:00pm All-levels Vinyasa at Treehouse Yoga Austin

This is an active vinyasa class that combines the essential techniques of conscious breath with a continuous flow of movement used to transition between sustained postures. Students will notice a gradual progression of improved concentration, flexibility, strength, circulation, respiration and lymphatic flow as their practice deepens. This class will also explore meditation and breath work to calm the fluctuations of the mind. All levels are welcome.

Saturday 10:30-11:30am Heated Vinyasa at Treehouse Yoga Austin

This is a heated vinyasa flow class with heat set to 80-90 degrees to help students go deeper in their postures and find more flexibility. This class aims to help you break a sweat, feel invigorated, and connect with yourself in new ways. This style is great for intermediate and more advanced yogis, but also open to beginners or brand new yogis. 

 

 

Saturday 1:00-2:00pm All-levels Flow at 24 Hour Fitness- Hancock Center

This is an all-levels, flow-based class. I aim to help students increase body awareness and mindfulness that they can take with them beyond the yoga studio. We will use creative sequencing and meditation exercises to bring our focus to a new intention each week. Free for 24 Hour Fitness members. Non-members: $20/class, including a day pass to use the gym.

 

 

 


Private Sessions

People seek private yoga classes for a variety of reasons. You may want to learn the basics of yoga as a new student, receive individualized attention in a private space, safely modify your practice while recovering from an injury, or master challenging advanced poses. Whatever your reasons, a private session can help you find a custom practice to fit your body and lifestyle. Please contact me for rates and scheduling.
